At The Roll Studio, we advise clients to start with 10 regular sessions, 2 to 3 times a week for best results. After that, we recommend weekly sessions to keep reaping the benefits.

What are the benefits of a body roll lymphatic drainage massage?

The body roll massage procedure, especially after approximately 10 workouts, has proven itself repeatedly to provide life-changing results. Different people experience different benefits, depending on their bodies’ unique needs.

Learn more about the different types of benefits.

How long does a body roll massage take?

Sessions last 45 minutes, during which the machines cycle through 15 unique positions lasting 3 minutes each. The positions target different areas and muscle groups according to the principles of lymphatic drainage massage.

Can i do a body roll lymphatic drainage massage while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Since a roller massage is several times stronger and more effective than regular massage, body rollers are not recommended for pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers, but it is not prohibited.

Roll massages causes toxins and residues to move out of the body, which can, in some way, affect breast milk. The final decision is up to you, but with anything this personal or critical, we highly recommend you consult with your doctor.

What is the importance of water consumption during the lymphatic drainage massage?

We recommend that you consume enough water before and after the procedure, as roll massage immediately activates the lymphatic system in our body, which causes fluid to flow through our body.

In order to prevent the body from losing excess fluid, water should also be consumed during the roll massage procedure

Possible side effects

It is possible to experience headaches after a connective tissue massage, especially if the massage was intense or if certain trigger points were addressed.

This can be temporary and is often caused by the detoxifying effects of the massage or by the release of tension in the muscles and connective tissue.

Hydration

For a better elasticity of your connective tissue, for the removel of waste products and for a improved bloodcirculation, it is advisable to have consumed at least half a liter of water before and after the massage.
